This policy explains what information The Seven Frontiers ("we", "us") handles when you use thesevenfrontiers.com (the "Site"), and your rights. Contact: sevenfrontiers.news@gmail.com.

1. Who is responsible

The Seven Frontiers, contactable at sevenfrontiers.news@gmail.com, is the controller of personal data described here. Legal name: The Seven Frontiers. Mailing address: The Seven Frontiers, 1026 Sophia Lane, Mars, PA 16046, USA.

2. What we collect

• No accounts, analytics or advertising trackers. The Site does not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social-media trackers.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time, to deliver and secure the Site.
• Email. If you email us (including feedback, takedown or "notify me" requests), we receive your email address and message via Google (Gmail).
• Information stored only in your browser. The Site saves the following items in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us:

3. Third parties that may receive data

• Netlify (hosting/CDN): server logs as above.
• Google (Gmail): if you email us.
• YouTube (Google): only if you click to load a video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); after you click, YouTube may set cookies and collect data under its own policy.
• Apple Podcasts: only if you click to load a podcast player.
• X (Twitter): only if you click a share button, which opens X.
• External links to news sources and other sites are governed by those sites' policies.

Fonts and code libraries are hosted on our own Site, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or public CDNs. We do not sell or "share" personal information (as those terms are defined under California law) and do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)

Legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, answering your emails); consent (loading third-party players you click on); and, where applicable, legal obligations.

5. Retention

Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for our records (generally no longer than 24 months unless needed for legal reasons). Hosting log retention follows Netlify's practices.

6. Your rights

EU/UK: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to your local data-protection authority. California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states: right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share), and non-discrimination for using these rights. Email sevenfrontiers.news@gmail.com to make a request; we will respond within the time required by law.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will post updates here with a new "last updated" date.
